Early Morning Walk with Polo

夜明け前のポロ散歩

This year, the winter solstice in 2023 will be on December 22nd. In late November, the sun rises much later, and it’s still dark when I go for a morning walk with Polo. Even so, the nocturnal dog walks energetically and even starts running, despite the sleepy owner. The Kofu Basin is surrounded by mountains, and those mountains and Mt. Fuji also can be seen the skylines clearly before dawn.

今年2023年の冬至は12月22日。11月も下旬になるとぐっと日の出が遅くなり、朝のポロ散歩はまだ周りが薄暗い。それでも夜行性のワンコはまだ眠たい飼い主をよそに元気に歩き、さらには走り出す。周りがぐるりと山に囲まれた甲府盆地は夜明け前に周囲の山並みや富士山がきれいに浮かび上がる。

This year, there were many clouds early in the morning, perhaps due to the humidity depends on the continuous hot days, and we were able to see many beautiful sunrises sky. There were days when the sky was so intensely red it looked like it was on fire and scary.

今年はずっと暑い日が続いたせいで湿度があるのか明け方も雲が多く、綺麗な朝焼けが多く見られた。ときにはどぎつく空が燃えているように怖く見える日も。
